Delays in Speech and Non-Verbal Cues
Another sign that your child may have autism is a delay in speech, as well as verbal cues. This can be odd speech-like patterns when talking and not reacting to non-verbal cues, such as pointing or hand gestures. Many times kids who have autism won’t be able to convey what they need to others, so they act inappropriately.
